Our milestone anniversaries provide the opportunity to reflect.

In 1967, the University Women’s Club published a weekly journal that included images of London’s Victorian buildings in reaction to the increasing loss of these places and to encourage their preservation.

Fifty years on, we have the opportunity to reflect on our heritage conservation efforts as a community. While many of the places pictured in the London Journal 1967 have been retained, some have been lost. Each week in our sesquicentennial year we will post a page from the London Journal 1967 and contrast with an image from today.
